It happened at mid day, over a reasonably populated area. Wouldn’t someone have seen a streak of light/fire when it started into the atmosphere or when it exploded? There were no reports of any.

That is Washington County. Who knows what those hill people saw. It is basically a big trailer park like Florida.

It probably only lasted a couple seconds. Plus with it being NYD, most were probably inside eating or watching football. Or still crying over Pitt.
