The whiskey will be fine, but the cork is probably completely dried out and when you attempt to pull it out it will just fall apart. Old dried out cork imparts a nasty taste in the whiskey.

Napa trip off to a great start! Flight cancelled last night out of Dulles so rebooked on a non-direct flight (via Seattle) today. Had to rearrange some tastings so likely will miss the game on Saturday morning. Hope you all behave….

We missed an overseas flight last week because Dulles is a nightmare. The pilot waited for luggage to be loaded in the plane so leaving the gate was delayed.

By the time that was done, he could not backup for 30 minutes because other planes were blocking his path. By the time he taxied out and the airspace filled up, what was supposed to be a 35 minute flight turned into over an hour.
