For any of y’all that have land and/or hunt around Philadelphia keep an eye out for for trespassing. We caught a picture of a new/newish Ram truck with a Central Electric Meter Reader sign on the side of the truck. Popped into our food plot around 3:20 on Friday 12/13. Judging from picture sequence he pulled in right in front of our camera and saw it then reversed out. There is not an electric line nor meter anywhere close to where he was. Don’t know if I can get the picture to load or not. Keeps sayung file is too large.

He ought to be easy to track down.

I hope you catch him and prosecute. We had a small issue with one last year and I am still mad about it.

We have a constant problem in Desoto County. We have a decent amount of acreage and it is a non stop battle that we can’t win.

This is the first instance we have caught on camera. It pisses me off so bad. We should have had a gate on this side of the property. But, thinking someone would have to drive through a corner of a pasture before entering the woods would deter anyone from poaching. There is a gate there now along with a few new cameras.

They’ll cut a lock or run through a cable in a minute. Our farmers had 2 tractors stolen in one night a couple weeks ago.

I had someone last year that must've seen the camera after he was pictured. My camera was open and the card gone.

It’s impossible to stop them unfortunately. We have signs on our gates that it is under surveillance. We have cameras where you can see them easily. These are non-cell cams. We then have cell cams hidden. It worked surprisingly well when a meth head tried to steal one of our ATVs. He walked around taking down the non-cell cams with a mask on. Once he had them down, he took off the mask. We were getting a constant stream of cell cam pics. The sheriff patrolman caught him in the gravel road right by our gate. He had a sawed off shotgun with him. I’m glad no one was at the camp to confront him when he showed up. It could have gone very badly.

Poachers are another story. The acreage is simply too big and offers too much opportunity to sneak around undetected.

It’s terrible here just because you have all these kids who think they can just go wherever in their trucks and atvs.

Game warden caught some one time that were rutting up a field (and didn’t think it was a big deal) and asked where they lived so he could come ride his four wheeler all in their yard and see how they liked it.

Caught a guy hunting once. Had his orange on with rifle walking down the road in the woods. My dad pulled up and asked him why he was there and then proceeded to tell my dad he owned the land. “Oh so do you know [blank]?” “No I’ve never heard of him.” “Well you would since he’s the one that owns this land.”

We've found Cameras, Climbers, and deer stands on our camp before. Pretty nice actually, Just means we have brand new stands and cameras to use.

Policy for us has always been if you leave stuff on our land you can call and come get it back from us but it will usually include a good *** chewing and a reminder to not do it again but funny enough, nobody has ever called asking for it back.
