My son was awarded the Lindy Callahan Athlete Scholar Scholarship at the MHSAA offices today. He was the Region 7 winner and was among 16 winners, including two from each of the 8 regions. The MHSAA did a 2-minute Q&A with each recipient - a new addition to the program. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to all of the winners speak about their athletic and academic careers and obstacles overcame.
We are so proud, too, that our son will be a fourth generation student at State next fall. His major is aerospace engineering, so he might be working with some of yall in the future. Go Dawgs and Hail State!
