She is awesome!! Standing up for women’s rights while the left obviously cares more about “trans women” than bio. women. She is very courageous. Some poor girl on a field hockey team recently got her teeth knocked out by a biological male. I hope she sues the hell out of somebody. Having to lose a boatload of money may be the only thing the radical left may be influenced by.
That would be OUR tax dollars. They have unlimited amounts of that. Now if they lose funding for letting men play in women's sports that will dryer sold from promoting this abomination.

No, probably not, I was talking about one of their Daughters being knocked out of a chance at an NCAA championship, or something similar. I’ve found that most folks support BS like this until it affects their kids/family. Riley Gaines and her family spent thousands of hours traveling, attending meets, training, and money only to be knocked out of a chance at a NCAA individual championship. The MAN that claimed to be a woman, was ranked in the 500’s as a MAN. The following season, when HE transgendered to CLAIMING he was a she, a NC was in his possession. Anyone that thinks this is fair or right, is a damn fool, and warped. Why doesn’t the NCAA form a transgender category for these men to compete in going forward. I’m ok with that.. won’t happen

To allow a biological male, that is inherently faster, stronger, and bigger due to testosterone, to compete against, and beat the s$&t out of women in sporting events , because they ‘identify’ as a woman. I could identify as an eagle, until I jump off a cliff and try to fly…lol
I’ll add this about ‘Lia Thomas’, the transgender swimmer that competed as a male one year, and the next as a woman. Thomas’s national ranking in HIS RANKING was 554th in MALES 300 Yd freestyle, ranked FIFTH after identifying as FEMALE; 500 yard freestyle as a MAN 65th, ranked FIRST the next year as a FEMALE: in the 1,650 freestyle event ranked 32nd in MEN’s and 8th in WOMEN’s. Notice the correlation to competing IDENTIFYTING as a woman vs HIS/HER results as a MALE. How the F is this fair to women who struggled for years until Chapter IX was implemented to level the playing field in NCAA sports, monetary and scholarship additions, etc. Kind of all goes away with morons like ‘Lia Thomas’. In cases like this, it sets gender equity back a few decades.

I don’t understand all this “identifying as” BS. The world is upside down with stupidity in several areas, this being a primary example. In nature there are two genders, male and female. Please introduce me to first male that identifies as a woman, that gives birth to another human…I’ll be their agent at a State Fair Sideshow.

I think it's kind of interesting that Thomas didn't win all the races (and finished tied with Gaines for 5th in a race - both losing to biological females). If dominance is a forgone conclusion because Thomas has a penis, then why wasn't Thomas dominant, even over Gaines? That said, I do think sports should be separated by biological sex (and you can be whatever gender you want to be). So if Usain Bolt wants to be a girl, that's fine. He can run in the men's 100m with long flowing hair and giant breast implants.
As for Semanya in the original post, this one is probably a little over Gaines' head. That girl was poked and prodded by doctors and scientists trying to figure out what to do and they came to the conclusion that she's a female (or at the very least, not a male). She's got more testosterone than most females, but people are born differently. Wilt Chamberlain wouldn't have been a HOF'er at 6'1" as he was at 7'1".
I don't think the argument is that a penis = immediate dominance. The argument is it is a strong competitive advantage, and there are numerous data points to show it.

Thomas had no opportunity to compete at the national level in the men's race, but immediately was a high level competitor and national champion in women's.

Yes, there are circumstances where a trans female would not do as well as other females. However, biological males are bigger, faster and stronger. If not, why have males ruled the world throughout the history of time, until say about 100 years ago when women began getting equal rights? It's because men are bigger, faster, stronger, and when women opposed, they were overpowered. Not because men are smarter, or any other reason. Simply, brute force.
