#1 overall player Dylan Raiola (QB) decommitted late last year from OSU. It seemed he was probably heading to UGA, but now it appears he's trending to Nebraska. His father played there and his uncle is on the staff in an on-field role. It also appears that OSU has rescinded their offer (per reports). Would be kind of annoying for Satt to go there and end up with the #1 QB and overall player to coach.

Heh.... Shows his uncle (I presume) as being one of his recruiters to Neb. Also, from Georgia, Monken was one of the recruiters for him - Monken leaving probably didn't help Georgia's position any I'm sure.

Hopefully the kid can't decipher 36-word-long play calls.

FWIW, Rhule didn't hire his uncle but retained him from the previous staff. I'm sure he was aware of who his nephew was, though.

Maybe somebody did the kid a favor and sent him a BoBo alert. If BoBo goes the way he went at USC, he'll show favoritism. The kid who committed to us when BoBo and Muschamp were here is now at UGA in a crowed qb room and I'd have to think BoBo likes him just as much as he favored his transfer who followed BoBo from Colorado State to USC. Just wondering. Anyway, would you rather cast your bread on the water with BoBo or Satterfield???

It appears that all signs point to Nebraska for Dylan Raiola. He is a legacy player because his father Dominic was a big time Husker Center before playing for the Detroit Lions over a long NFL career. I for one would like to see the Huskers rise from the ashes and become a Big Ten contender. How bizarre that Marcus Satterfield might have the last laugh after all.

It's only a last laugh if the guy ends up there AND experiences great success in the Satterfield system.

Goes to Pinnacle HS....same HS as Rattler. Both are 5* guys, but Rattler was rated dual threat.
Pro style QB.....typical/Satt was not a dual threat guy.
If Raiola is not mobile, he'll struggle.

True. But so far, Satterfield has laughed to the bank with a $500K pay raise from Nebraska. Not too shabby for a guy who was a mediocre at best OC at South Carolina.
