Please understand these amounts are nothing more than possibly maybe hopefully if everything works out over the next few years maybe if things work out exactly you can possibly come near this figure. Some people will understand what this means.

It’s basically a con game now by boosters so in a few years the lawsuits will start flying by players saying they were misled.

He did pretty good for a RS Freshman, but they lost the last 3 and will probably get another L against Oregon next week. Heels D is not good and now several of the better offensive players have opted out.

Mack Brown on why it’s pointless to follow up on tampering: “The problem is it's all done through agents. They would absolutely say it was a lie. There's no paper trail. There's no way to prove it. It's all agent to agent."

Going off memory, but someone posted here that some players (I think it was those leaving A&M) were already talking about not getting the money they were promised.

I was unable to find a link though.

One of the issues will be individuals failing to meet their NIl commitment, but that doesn’t change the fact that there is widespread tampering and kids are jumping ship for money they think they will get. Whether the money actually comes through or not is immaterial to the current tampering.

Agreed.

It's a separate issue that the kids might not even see some or all of the money they're being offered during the tampering.

If I had to guess I’d say Florida State and Maryland from the Acc and Auburn or Texas AM from the SEC.Southern Cal could afford him but they already have a loaded QB room .Alabama has 2 top 5 stars signed so not them.
Interesting

Justin Fields makes $4.2m a year. Granted this is rookie limited. And he would get NIL deals as well.

That being said it just shows you schools are getting to the level of NFL rookie starting QB money.

As important as QB1 is I really dont see a value problem with schools paying $1-2m for a good QB1. Its absolutely worth that. Thing of what Joe Burrow meant to LSU. That one season was probably work $10m to LSU. Maybe more.

If there is a .9999 ranked QB on 24/7 in the future I think its worth a "sniper shot" for our elite boosters to try to get him. Those kind of guys can define the trajectory of your program. Look at our turd upstate rivals. What they did with a generational QB versus what they look like without one.

We had a .95 guy this year but we pooped the bed for 80% of the season with his talent. Thank you shane and satt

I think we're going to need a good many data points plotted over a longer period of time, at least two or three years. Right now, everything is anecdotal and contemporaneous.

I thought the True Freshman Quarterback from Clemson looked better than Maye the Redshirt Freshman for UNC in the ACC Championship game.

Maye worth 5 Million? My A$$...if he were to get that much money, college football is now the Minor League Football to the NFL...
