These last four games have been nothing short of ugly. Not just losing, but getting embarrassed four games in a row. I knew there would be some sort of drop off after wrapping up the division, whether it be due to mentally letting their foot off of the gas or anything else, but the pitching has looked like they’ve checked out completely. There’s still two weeks left in the season so ride out the storm and then turn that switch back on when the playoffs start. The question is, can they actually do that?

A pretty good summation of your concerns!

I'm not concerned (yet). It's just a bad slump at the moment, something the team hasn't had many of this year. There's still a couple weeks to go until games really matter again.

Smalls has been concerned about the bullpen all season, and has mentioned many times that the issues were simply overlooked because of the offense. Could that be part of it?

I’ll be honest. I think almost every fanbase over blows the struggles of their bullpen. Atlanta’s bullpen has been serviceable and nothing to be concerned about more than most other teams. I mean at least 3/4 of teams will probably tell you their bullpen is one of their weakest links.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were in the top 3 bullpens in mlb at the all-star break, I guess you have to have something to complain about. I will say this if they are counting on Iglesias to come in and shut down someone in the playoffs I'm holding my breath.
