What're yall throwing in the crockpot or smoker for the snow storm? I personally love a good snow (don't usually have to be out in it) and decided to be celebratory: I have an 8lb prime rib I bought when they were on sale during the holidays, have it thawing out for tomorrow night. Will throw a little rub on it tonight or in the morning, planning on using a Cowboy rub the in-laws got for me that has coffee and other spices in it.

And of course remember, if for some reason you're not firing up the smoker be responsible: If you're cold, they're cold - save lives, bring 'em inside.

Fried two eggs and some sausage patties for breakfast. Creating room in the digestive system for today’s culinary exploits as I type this. The possibilities are endless!

Hell yeah with the Weber, the only real way to cook outside. Pellet grills are the first step to joining the LBGQRST+-% community.

Well, that Weber is in a cabin so the cabin owner is already dead from carbon monoxide inhalation . His body is just off screen. The dog is still alive because smoke rises and there is still sufficient oxygen at its level but the door is closed and it’s just a matter of time.

Yeah, but at least his ol' lady will have some goodness from the grill when she gets home.

I picked up a 2.5 lb tri-tip yesterday, I plan on throwing on the Kamdo tomorrow or Saturday.

Also if you have not tried this chimichurri mix you are missing out. This has become a go to sauce every time we cook steaks.

Tossing on 40 lbs pork butt 4 racks ribs then 20 lbs wings.

Might go snorkeling while it cooks.

Cooked salmon on the kamado tonight. Grilled hamburgers or spaghetti tomorrow. I may smoke some candied bacon in the morning.

Not sure what you are getting at but I love my dogs and would NEVER EVER cook them just because I was cold! They keep me warm at night.

And yes, the whole idea of keeping pets outside in freezing weather is one of the many redneck things I never understood.

Leftover cheeseburger soup. Alternate: 5 cheese tortellini and homemade Alfredo sauce

I’m sure the dogs appreciate a warm house when it’s cold. We brought ours inside when it was cold too. However, animals are made differently and it’s not going to hurt them. No one takes in the deer, squirrels, rabbits, birds, etc when it’s cold and they do just fine. This is nothing around here compared to the northern or western states and natures critters continue to thrive. Still, your a kind person to look out for your dogs comfort.

Power just went out here about an hour ago. May grill in the snow tonight. Just laid out some chicken kabobs.
