Not to one up you on the horrors, but to support your premise, I just got done having my whole plumbing re-piped due to a leak under my foundation. $10,000 including the $1,000 water bill. And now that god damn hot water heater won't work, probably due to all the nonsense. Once you get on the **** train, it's hard to get off.

I haven't had a hot shower since before Memorial Day. Luckily I don't really want one right now.

Right before we went on vacation my wife noticed our pool/filter pump was really loud. I called the pool guys and they found a big salamander jammed up inside it. So, that's a $2,000.00 replacement after having been in service less than a year and a half.

Almost everything I own is either broken or about to be broken. I think it's 1/2 by design and 1/2 me being negligent. Maybe 2/3rds by design and 1/3 me being negligent.

I've recently had a similar experience, which lasted about four months. One thing after another. After awhile, all you can do is laugh. Good therapy; and as long as you and yours remain healthy, these things mean relatively little.
