OT: USA World Cup

Anybody else going to watch the World Cup? I don’t watch soccer but must admit this is getting intense in the last 10-15 minutes.

I don’t know much but it feels that way. This is terrible watching guys just constantly go to the ground. Added 9 minutes and half of that has been watching guys sit on the grass. I don’t know how anybody watches this sport on a consistent basis.

Ends in a 1-1 tie. 100 minutes of my life I can’t get back. I’ll stick to American Football on Black Friday.

It started Sunday. Being played in Quatar. No idea when it usually starts.

A dumb penalty cost us that match. Chances of making it to the knockout round greatly decreased after that draw. Really needed 3 points there.

Yeah, I haven't paid attention to it in years. The last time I was even kind of into it was back when the team had Alexi Lalas and Tony Meola (if that's how you spell their names). That world cup was during my summer break from school so I assumed they were always in the summer.

Honestly, I thought the same thing until I saw the commercials this year lol. The only time I watch soccer is during the World Cup and ONLY when the USMNT is on lol

Haven't paid attention to it......ever. But I saw it was on and my two sons started getting into it.

I figured I'd try to get them through the game against England this Friday to see if it takes.

Yes, this is the first time that the World Cup is not being played in our summer.
