Posted only b/c it's immediately relevant for us (yes, if you're a Gamecock fan, you care how Clemson does in recruiting). Given that they missed on all their top QB targets in this class, I hoped that was a sign they were cycling out in recruiting. As it is, they just picked up two big commitments from Sammy Brown and TJ Moore. Then, a report came out that they are in "terrific" position with three 5* WRs, Bryant Wesco, Cameron Coleman and Mike Matthews. As it is, it's just two big commits, so it could fizzle out or pick up momentum. There's still a long way to go. Guys can decommit. All those WRs could end up going elsewhere. 🤞🤞🤞

Yep, they are at it again! Dabo must be softening up on the nil money.

Clem is in a good spot. National Championships are still recent enough to be relevant. And they have some major holes in their roster to fill. Frankly, that's why they got Sammy Brown. UGA's LB room is loaded. He'll 100% start from day 1 at clem.

The kid will look like in all American going up a against the likes of Virginia, Duke, Georgia Tech, etc. Probably won’t ever have to play UGA. Oh well, nice pickup for the taters

They actually play UGA in 2024, LSU in 25&26.

Are they pulling in any OL? Last time I reviewed their football board, they were concerned about QB and OL recruiting. They seemingly always have gotten the offensive skill players they wanted and good defensive players.

I just looked at the 24/7 page and they had no OL commits.

The excuse I heard on qb was that they are hoping to RS the 5 star freshman they have, so they are looking for second tier qbs this class. Fwiw

Read the same about the QB situation.....then I read the unanswered question of "why did we go after them then?" LOL

Looks like this will continue - despite losing to us and getting waxed by Tennessee - until the ACC falls apart. Dabo with the snake oil. This is why we need to root for the ACC to fall apart and hope the SEC doesn`t throw them a life preserver.

What does the ACC have to do with their recruiting success?

They have some impressive dl. Peter Wood from Alabama, Vic Burley from Ga. and another dl from Rome. We got the ol. Should make for some major battles upfront.

They got the biggest name OC out there and it’s paying dividends. It’s why so many fans had him at the top of our wish list for our OC spot

But the Clemson fans I know believe he will be gone in two years, if not sooner. He doesn’t seem to hang around in one place too long. The name alone will bring some recruits….now we will see how he coaches out from the watchful eye of a good offensive HC. Could be another Rhule-Satterfield situation.
