Down goes 'Bama. Tennessee kicks a FG at the end, and just makes it, to win 52-49. 'Bama missed a FG in the last minute.

Or TN got some real home cooking. 17 penalties called on Bama compared to 6 on the Vols on their own home turf.
He looks tired. Wonder if he'll make it to the end of his current contract? NIL has rejuvenated Tennessee; their recruiting has really picked up. They also have a nutty enough fan base to make it work. Will be curious to see how the dominos fall when Saban retires - maybe Dabo to Bama and Kirby stays put; who would Bama consider? Kiffin? Meyer? Franklin (just kidding)!?!

can you ever imagine a game where Ohio State or Michigan gets penalized 17 times? Especially when the game is still close.
I also thought he (Saban) looked tired today. He might retire after this season and go enjoy life.
We know O'Brien dislikes the ancillary parts of CFB head coaching (recruiting, schmoozing) but would he take the job if offered?
The Phillies winning, Bama losing, ND losing, our ice hockey winning twice, and WVB beating Iowa in 5 sets on the road, and the Flyers starting off 2-0 all made for a pretty good weekend, the Michigan game notwithstanding. There was no way we were going to win that game up there anyway. We will regroup and beat Minn next week in the whiteout spectacle, take our lumps against OSU, and go on to have a good season. Enjoy it folks and remember that wrestling and an improved basketball program awaits soon.
