For the game being at OU, this is basically a pick 'em.

This is our last shot to get back in contention for a 6th win (whatever that even means these days). We pooped the bed in various and inventive ways in our previous 3 shots.

At some point the team simply has to collectively decide they are sick of losing games they can win and decide to just not let it happen.

Two good defenses, and two poor offenses.

Probably a turnover or one big play away from a win for either.

I expect a Gamecock victory. This is not your Daddy's Oklahoma Sooners.

I'm not sold on Brent Venables being Head Coaching material.

Just like Ole Miss and Bama was, OU might be pissed off this week. I wish the game was here instead.

Oh yeah, that's right - They got wrecked by Tx! What is up with this crap?!? It seems like every team we play is coming off of a loss. Nothing like a loss to force a team to really self-evaluate, clean up mistakes, and laser-focus on improving areas of need.

Aren't we coming off a loss too? Why should it not apply to our team as well?
You haven't been a fan for very long, huh? 😁 I kid! I kid!

In all seriousness, it *should* apply.... However, you can add that aspect of our sporting history to the many things we don't ever seem to do as well as, or the same as other, successful programs.

Yes it does apply to us as well. One of the measures of a team is how it performs when it's back is against the wall. It sounds like most on this forum trust OU's fighting spirit more than they trust ours. We shall see.

Missouri and Vandy still toss ups, but yes, feels like a must win. The window is closing.

Looks like the line has moved to -2.5 for OU.
Money must have been flowing to SC more than Vegas wanted.

If Beamer can get the team up this week after what had to be a deflating loss to Bama, he might be a better coach than some think. That Bama game had to hurt bad.

Maybe Missouri isn’t a toss up but they got hammered by A&M so you’d have put A&M in that category as well. I still think both are winnable games. My point is, all the rest of the conference games are toss ups and you win half at best, at best. Vandy is a toss up at this point.

IMO people who think the rest of the games are toss ups are assuming we will play our best in all three phases for four quarters. I haven't seen that kind of consistency yet.
