Almost time to stop watching college football.
Texas and Texas A&M have big oil money, Washington has Microsoft money, Oregon has Phil Knight money, Stanford probably has big tech money, Oklahoma State has Hatheway Birkshire money. USC and UCLA supporters have Hollywood. And we have Meyer Dairy.
And that pretzel mustard company!
hard to believe that this is going to be allowed. NCAA had relatively few rules around NIL, and one was that a sponsor could not pay for play or pay contingent on attending a certain school. It is fine to provide $1M for service to the company giving the $$$, but the service cannot be attending a certain school.

This is terrible news. My wife is from state college area, and I must say... I much rather prefer Middleswarth rather than UTZ. We do not have Middleswarth over here in Pittsburgh.

My wife and I went to a grocery store in Myrtle Beach this summer and she was all over the store looking for Middleswarth BBQ. I didn't tell here until we got back to the condo.
The NCAA is likely investigating a ton of NIL and transfer issues as we speak. 5 years from now when the impacted players are gone and the coaches have changed jobs they will reach a conclusion and just might slap someone on the wrist.
The amazing thing is that $1 million may be too low for Caleb.
