I’m good with everything but that stupid maroon an white cheer, and the way we do the slooooww drawn out S-t-a-t-e spell out with nothing to finish it off. Just silence.

My favorite so far has been Van Halen - Jump for a kickoff. Nothing like VH’s shytiest song to get the youths fired up.

On a similar note, admission into the stadium, parking, exiting campus, and exiting Starkville all seem to be much improved over the last few years. All major points of b!tching on this board.

The LSU fan that came with me to the game was complementary of how our music was generally better than LSUs because there was less rap, but I’m sure we are classified as old and out of touch. As an alternative to complaining tell me you have seen do it better, seems like everyone has a stale pregame in the name of tradition.

LSU band is arguably the best in the SEC. Famous Maroon is good and loud, better than my OM players by the numbers, but can’t hold that tiger. Honestly they’re just plain fun to hear and watch. Cheers to tradition. Love college football.

Oh I guess this is a good thread to mention. In all my years of going to games at Scott field, that was a small following of LSU fans. I certainly can remember more being there.
