The thread on "where do you want to see a game" got me thinking.

Which stadiums have you seen a college football game in?

Oddly enough I haven't been to a ton of SEC on-campus stadiums, but have watched a lot of football in lots of other places.

Mississippi State (Davis Wade of course; my first game was the 1982 night game vs. LSU with the temporary lights)
TSUN (Vaught Hemingway)
Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium (back in the day when we played a bunch in Jackson)
Legion Field (Birmingham)
War Memorial Stadium (Little Rock, against UPig)
Tennessee (Neyland)
Vandy (Vanderbilt)
South Carolina (Williams-Brice)
Air Force (Falcon Stadium)
Colorado State (their former stadium back in the late 80's)
Liberty Bowl (regular season and bowl games)
Nissan Stadium (bowl games)
Bristol Motor Speedway (the Battle at Bristol between Tenn and VaTech) - what a waste of time and money
Florida (the swamp)
Florida State (Doak Campbell)
Citrus Bowl
Georgia Dome (SEC Championship vs. TN and Peach Bowl vs. NC)

I’ll limit my response only to the non-SEC D1 stadiums where I’ve seen football games:

MM Roberts Stadium (Southern Miss) — Hattiesburg, MS

Stanford Stadium (Stanford) — Stanford, CA
The old stadium that seated 89,000 before it was demolished after the ‘05 season and replaced with its current 50,000 capacity stadium

Liberty Bowl (Memphis State) — Memphis, TN

Sun Bowl Stadium (UTEP) — El Paso, TX
Attended the ‘74 & ‘80 Sun Bowls

Superdome (former Tulane) — New Orleans, LA

Tough question. Been to OM, Bama, Auburn, Vandy, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Liberty Bowl, Gator Bowl, Peach Bowl (in the GA Dome), Tulane (in the Super Dome), Cotton Bowl (at Fairgrounds). And seen us play USM and OM at Jackson way back when. Wow, that’s about it. I’m slacking in road games. And that’s many years.

I’ve always been a “I’ll spend my money in Starkville” type. I might try and change that going forward.

Not a whole log when I think about it:

Liberty Bowl, Memphis
Super Dome, New Orleans
old Robertson Stadium, Houston
Mississippi College, Clinton
ICC, Fulton
Northeast CC, Booneville
EMCC, Scooba
Georgia Dome
Nissan Stadium or whatever it was at the time, Nashville
Then SEC games at
Hemingway/Vaught-Hemingway, Oxford
Bryant-Denny, Tuscaloosa
Jordan-Hare, Auburn
TIger Stadium, Baton Rouge
WIlliams-Brice, Columbia
Starkville
Edited because I forgot the countless games I witnessed at the Crown Jewel Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium, Jackson.

In the SEC, I've seen State play at Ole Miss, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas (that counts as SEC now, right?), and Tennessee.

Outside the SEC, I've seen the following football games:
- Univ of VA v. Florida St. @ UVA in 1999 (FSU was National Champs that year)
- Univ. of Washington v. Univ. of California @ Seattle in 2000
- State v. Oregon @ Oregon in 2002
- Virginia Tech v. Univ. of Southern California @ FedEx Field in Landover, MD in 2004 (USC were National Champs that year)
- Mississippi Gulf Coast CC v. Lakawanna College @ Pittsburg St. Univ. in Pittsburg, Kansas in 2019 (MGCCC were National Champs that year)

Planning on attending a football game at Virgina Tech this year, where our daughter will be a first year student.

Every SEC stadium, except for OU, so I may need to remedy that.

Other sites common for SEC games...
Jackson Memorial
Legion Field
Gator Bowl stadium, and whatever the New stadium is called now
Georgia Dome/Mercedes Dome
Superdome

Just about every stadium State has played a bowl game in, plus Rose Bowl, U. Of Phoenix stadium, probably some other bowl games I'm forgetting right now..(I haven't been ti every State Bowl game, but I've seen other games in some of the same stadiums)

Every stadium from the old SWC, as they existed in the 90s, plus the Astrodome
Fun fact: Rice Stadium used to have a higher seating capacity than Scott Field has now. It was the site of JFK's "we choose to go to the Moon" speech, and SuperBowl VIII (memorialized in the song "Super Bowl Vee One Eleven)

Some ACC stadiums
Clemson
Georgia Tech
Doak Campbell
UNC

Some BIG:
Michigan
OSU
Beaver Stadium

Turner Field
Cramton Bowl in Montgomery
Ladd Stadium in Mobile
Cajun Field (saw Alabama play there!)
Arizona Stadium (but NOT for State's game there)
Edward's Stadium (BYU)
Rice-Eccles (Utah Utes)
Cal Stadium

I know I'm leaving some out. I used to be a massive CFB fan. These days, I still enjoy it, but it seems like a lot of wasted money.

I did. I remember it being a little chilly but most of the rain was gone by game time. The seats were definitely not built for our generation. They were tight as hell and you had zero knee room.

The concourses were narrow and always full, cinderblock everywhere and the bathrooms were worse than the Templeton troughs.

The only highlight of the day was I saw new WWE rassler (at the time) Mark Henry walking around the concourse.

I have limited road experience, I traveled to as much as I could afford in college and then once I started a family that was the end of that.

2 Peach Bowls in the Georgia Dome
Cotton Bowl
2 games against Tulane in Superdome
1995 Alabama - was fired up for my first game in a “big time” SEC atmosphere. Even though they were ranked their student section wasn’t half full. I think attendance was around 52k and we had a chance to walk out with a win before losing 14-9
Tons of games in Jackson but i never attended an Egg Bowl
In the 80s I went to an LSU vs Notre Dame game at Tiger Stadium. It was a great experience.
