If he's in a boot with ankle sprain he may miss practice for 3 weeks. I'd want him to miss practice for three weeks to heal better. The one player I'm not worried about on this team is Oweh. If it was Lowe I'd be more worried, about him not getting reps in a new coach's system. And Oweh on the side lines for three weeks may give our crowded 2 and 3 guys more pt to find their grove at a new school.

I read where it’s a precautionary boot due to a minor toe injury during practice.

Hopefully not turf toe, a mild case can heal in 2 or 3 weeks but a more severe case of it can take up to 6 months.

I saw a girl playing in a high school golf tournament Saturday in a walking boot and ironically enough she was riding in a cart and not walking.

My wife's in a boot right now. But if she needed to suit up, she could gut it out. And she's 55.
