The Pac-12 is going to mic players and coaches and allow more cameras in the coaches' booth and locker room.

Think this is an innovation and other conferences will follow suit or is this a last grasp at being an attractive prospect to media partners?

I think it's the way things are going, but I don't like it. I really don't even like the halftime coach's interview much. But I don't see this doing much to make the PAC-12 much more marketable for their media rights.

Innovative yet not innovative at the same time.

The Big 12 has talked about doing this too and as patdog mentioned it's where things are going.
