I wish I could make it to Starkville tomorrow but I cant. I really hope those of you who live closer will show up and show those guys some love. They certainly deserve it. There is nothing as fun as a packed and raucous Hump.
It won't be close to that.I know it's Valley but it should be a decent crowd. Saturday early afternoon before the SEC championship. Undefeated team playing som good ball. No excuse for there not to be at least 6500+

Pre-Christmas games against SWAC schools are never going to draw many people, no matter how good or bad we are.I know it's Valley but it should be a decent crowd. I would take the under on that. We will be lucky to have 3250.I know it's Valley but it should be a decent crowd. Saturday early afternoon before the SEC championship. Undefeated team playing som good ball. No excuse for there not to be at least 6500+
Announced "attendance" was 6,343. What do I win?It won't be close to that.
Hoping for 2500
Did you watch or attend the game? It was around 2500 actual.....maybe. What that tells me is we only sold 6,343 tickets. That's not good at all. We used to sell it out in season tickets.Announced "attendance" was 6,343. What do I win?
Valley's Fault cuz they don't travel well.Did you watch or attend the game? It was around 2500 actual.....maybe. What that tells me is we only sold 6,343 tickets. That's not good at all. We used to sell it out in season tickets.
Yes I was there and I was joking. My point in the original post I made is that the team deserves 6500 at leastDid you watch or attend the game? It was around 2500 actual.....maybe. What that tells me is we only sold 6,343 tickets. That's not good at all. We used to sell it out in season tickets.
I never remember a crowd that big pre-holidays, and I was a season ticket holder who went to nearly every home game for close to 25 years starting in 1989.Yes I was there and I was joking. My point in the original post I made is that the team deserves 6500 at least

There may have been one or two, I remember a pretty good one against a ranked Ball State team. The point still stands though, getting upset about crowd support prior to the holidays is jumping the gun. If it continues afterward then it's a legit problem. There were a few games scattered in the Stansbury era that had some good crowds. I remember going to see them play missouri-Kansas City and there being about 7,000 there but for the most part they are sparse.
Heck, it's still football season. I thought about going today, but I wanted to watch the football games. There may have been one or two, I remember a pretty good one against a ranked Ball State team. 2018 vs Cincinnati was a really good one. Also I remember in the late Stans years we played West Virginia at the Hump and that was a good atmosphere but those probably happened 10 years apartI never remember a crowd that big pre-holidays, and I was a season ticket holder who went to nearly every home game for close to 25 years starting in 1989.
I wouldn't know. I don't ever see the CL and local TV around Starkville doesn't do sports much any more. I don't watch it because of that.Is the CL and MS T.V. Sports News doing a good job waking people the 17 up about how good we are doing?
