So the Panthers released Mayfield. Then drafted his replacement #1 overall. Then Mayfield goes to divisional rival TB and wins the division. I know he asked to be released, but what a mess Carolina is.

Yes, but they likely would have ruined CJ also. Sometimes it simply doesn't pay long term to be the #1 pick, particularly when you have a toxic owner / culture.Could have had CJ Stoud.
Snyder no longer owns the Redskins, correct? Does that make Tepper the worst NFL owner now? 
And to think that Tepper is a wildly successful hedge fund manager. Glad he does not manage my investments. I probably could not afford him anyway. I do my own, for free.
Some people are very good at certain things but not so good at others. I always marveled at the old CCU coach (Joe Moglia) He was a billionaire money manager and a good football coach.
