The ladies really need a quality win and should have plenty of motivation after that awful 4th quarter in Starkville last game vs OM.

Also, UConn is in Knoxville vs the Vols. We'll see if they're back to being for real after an 8-0 SEC start.

U-Conn whuppin Orange a** right now. Rickea Jackson, quitter, hasn’t improved her national reputation with this game.

Our women need to put it on the Rebels. We owe them one.

17'n UConn is back. 33 first quarter points on 71% shooting with 10 assists, on the road.

Playing that pretty basketball Vic always said you couldn't let them establish

UConn only scored 7 in the second quarter? I just flipped over and saw the halftime score.

Starting 0-4 from the field and J. Carter already has a foul by minute 2. Not a promising start.

Sleepy start They have to start making shots, or Ole Miss will get two against us after dropping a couple of league games.

We haven’t been swept by Ole Miss in women’s basketball since the 2007-2008 season.

Hey Sam ....OM wore your zone out with three pointers in the first game.... seems like you would think about maybe playing a man to man once in a while to at least change it up......you are letting a coach who is a screamer and demeans players beat you ....this is sure way to lose the fan base

I'm about worn out watching these two State basketball teams not score baskets.
My problem with Sam is on the defensive end.... just as stubborn as VIc was with the man to man .... Sam is just as stubborn with the zone ....

If they lose this game, I may pack it in on basketball altogether for this season.

Men’s team is uninspired.
Women’s team are still a season or two away.
Grizzlies are on a 4 game choking spree.

Just a tough time to be a team in my fandom.

Looks like we still have no coaching. This is as bad as it gets. Selfish players and poor coaching all over the place.
When the players can't shoot or play defense, and the coach doesn't recruit them, it's a little more complicated than just poor coaching. You have more significant problems, sorry.

Our offense looks very amateur-ish compared to the Ole Miss.
UMissy shooting lights-out and we can't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle. We're leaving 3-pt shooters wide open and they're making us pay for it. And, our shot selection is poor as well. Gonna be a long night for the maroon & white.

Oh yee of little faith . . . . . we're not playing well, but Old Piss is just better than us this year. Patience is a virtue, which many among our fanbase have very little of, including you.

We're really suffering from lack of a point guard. It's obvious now why Vic always put so much emphasis on developing point guards.

Our former PG is simply schooling us in how to play the position. Trying to use various lead guards in the PG slot led to 1, that's one, assist from the guards in the 1st half.

You can't beat good teams like that.

First time swept in almost two decades and by double digits since 97. That's a 17ing embarrassment.

The McCray year burned a lot of bridges between me and the women’s basketball program, and I’ve lost a ton of interest since. Haven’t watch a full game from start to finish in either of the last two years.

I would like to see them succeed again but I don’t have a ton of faith in it happening anytime soon.
