The pregame crew wasn't good IMO. I think Blackledge is one of the best analysts but play by play guy Eagle is too young and not very exciting IMO.

NBC spent a lot of money to get the BiG TV rights. I expected better from the announcers.

He is young, and I still associate him with the NFL games he called on Nickelodeon the past couple of seasons—which only makes him seem even younger. But, he's got a good family pedigree with his father in the business and he's got potential to have that booming announcer voice—just will need time to grow into it.

Blackledge is just tremendous…explains the game so well, whether you’re new to the sport or have been watching for years.

I actually thought last night was rough for Todd, who I’ve always liked.

How often they kept insisting WVU gave a good performance (other than a broken play and a garbage time score, they did nothing). Him saying that a FG was the worst case scenario before half twice (said it again even after a ball was almost intercepted in the end zone). Said going forward it’s going to have to be more than just KLS in the passing game (when Wallace already had 7 for 76). And just weird small things like when Carter got held and they said “but he still managed to get in on the play anyway,”despite the video they were showing making clear he was not at all involved in the tackle.

Speaking of Peacock, so the only way to watch next week is to pay for Peacock?

Did you watch the game or spend time looking for mistakes from the Announcers or Blackledge?

The Penn State fan is the winiest TV viewing spectator in the NCAA. The media morons have resented us since Paterno reprimanded Nixon, as highlighted by Jim Lampley's treatment of Curt Warner after the Sugar Bowl, and now we FINALLY get a game where the announcers are truly non-bias, no passive aggressive worship from Herbstreit, no open hostility from Broyles, and we act like Miami Hurricane fans. ffs. Everything except the DLine has improved under Franklin, Diaz and Yurcich and Kraft I wake up to blue pixel nonsense like this string. I hope the taxes double for the naysayers.

It looked like he was wearing lipstick. 👄
So it wasn’t just me…
I thought he did ok with the play by play but it will take awhile for me to get used to him. I’ve seen so many big games over the years and knew they were big games when I found out Charlie Jones, Musberger, Keith Jackson, Ron Franklin, Brad Nessler, Sean McDonough, or Fowler were on the mic. Gus just doesn’t do it for me.
Back to the makeup, it did have a tinge of drag show to it.
