did not notice Rasheed Walker who probably needs a good Combine.

Jahan Dotson did not show up as well as I expected. I thought he would among the fastest 40, so 4.43 probably okay just not great for him. Given he is among the smallest WRs, hoped he might be mid 4.3. did not see him score in top 5 WRs in anything. All I heard was that he needed to score well here to offset his size.

Brandon Smith was slower in the 40 than I expected. 4.57 and 4.61. That is not going to help him, and I recall that the BWI team expected him to blow up the draft with his skill, but the questions would be inconsistent play. He is supposed to be another freak. I did not notice him in the top 5 LBs in any LB test. This may not be helping him.

Luketa - did not notice him at all.

AKB doing well but did not run.

Normally we do a little better at the Combine. Arnold so far holding up as the top Penn State performer. still a few to come.

I read an article that stated that Dotson’s combine numbers prove that he is still a potential first round draft pick because all his measureables combined show he is a good prospect. He is considered the best small (< 6 ft. tall) receiver in the draft and is considered above the short speedster (4.3 guy) from ? Western Michigan. On film he has some of the intangibles that can’t be taught and has football ability, not a combine star like the unforgettable Mike Mamula.

Lol. Brandon Smith didn’t do well and live up to your expectations In testing? Good take.

“This ranked 3 out of 2188 LB from 1987 to 2022.”

When are the tackling throwing-shoulder drills?

That's a good point. I don't think the NFL evaluators take those types of metrics seriously. I mean 3rd best out of 2188 LBs during a 25 year period is pretty good, but, as some of our fans have pointed out in the past, he's an undrafted free agent at best. The guy just isn't going to be drafted. ;) Also, Parsons was overrated too. He only had one good game at Penn State.

Don't forget about Oweh. He was going to be undrafted as well. No sacks in his final season. 💩🤣

The notion that Mamula was a bust is pretty funny when you consider that in terms of sacks per game he’s the most productive edge rusher the Eagles have drafted in the first four rounds in the last 40 years.
