My Friday isn't all that busy ... I just want to set this up now so that it's not on my mind later today. I'm tired of trying to predict how the matches will go (reminder to enter you KYPSW selections), and wish the dual was starting in the next hour. :ROFLMAO:

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the PSU - Iowa dual.

Video Streaming:
Those that are subscribers of the BTN can stream the video via the Fox Sports App

Audio Streaming:
The radio PBP, with Jeff Byers at the mic, will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion of the broadcast will begin at 6:40 pm EST, with the actual dual taking place at 7:00 pm EST. I should be good for PBP. Once again, I'm reffing a tournament all day on Saturday, so I may not be able to stick around for too much of the post-match interviews, stats, etc. I hope @GregPickel will also be adding coverage (don't know if he'll be in the BJC or watching from home). And I always encourage others to participate in the coverage.

Looking around at some Iowa forums there are plenty of Iowa fans who believe their guys are going to shock the world tonight. Many have convinced themselves that whoever they send out will shock the world by beating Carter.

Any word on if Iowa is gonna let Arnold wrestle Carter tonight?

I really hope they do. If they don't, what message does that send to Arnold and their team?

I have seen plenty that have reserved themselves to a loss and just hoping it isn’t too lopsided.

Just wondering.... Has Iowa ever made a non-conference return trip to Penn State to square things up for the Dec. 21, 2013 dual in Iowa City?? I'm guessing not.

Not that I am aware of. The Brands are super insecure.

As we get closer to the match I am seeing the same Iowa fan outlook that comes out every year before the dual and in March. They get real confidant and convince themselves their team can shock everyone as if they do it all the time.

Also Gabe is not wrestling.

At the match. Teemer warmed up for a long period of time with an Iowa coach.

Per Byers, Arnold is on the trip, and would have made weight, but Iowa did not have him weigh in.

Apparently Pickel did not make weight. We are sitting right in front of the press section and right behind Sparks.

Band is playing and a Solid atmosphere in here tonight. Cheerleaders etc.

I’m not trying to be rude, and also this is not serious, but unless he’s injured, Gabe Arnold shouldn’t be allowed to compete anymore after this embarrassing decision.

It was Brands decision, I’m sure. But, it sends the wrong message to Arnold, his team, and the rest of the wrestling community. It sends a message of insecurity.

They’re protecting his seed for ncaas. I hate it too, but teams do it

125: #7 Luke Lilledahl vs. #26 Joey Cruz (JC)

Per 1
Luke nearly with an ankle pick. Then JC shoots, then Luke counters and has a head insigne single, and gets the TD, 3-0. JC works up, and Luke cuts him, 3-1. 2 min left. Stoppage with 1:28 left as Luke is holding his thumb. He's going to continue, after getting it taped. JC with the choice on the restart, and he takes bottom. Caution on JC. JC tries to sit out, then to his feet, tripped back down. Back again, and returned. Back up again and OOB with 1:06 left. JC working to his base, eventually to his feet, and returned. JC works to his feet and then his feet, and returned on the edge. OOB with 7 sec left. End. RT @ 1:49 for Luke

Per 2
Luke takes bottom. Luke to his feet, and he's out in 11 sec, 4-1. JC shoots, blocked, then Luke with a counter and gets a leg, he shelfs it, JC with a split, and Luke gets the TD, 7-1. Stoppage (pretty quick) for a stalemate with 1:00 left. jC get flattened, and RT goes over 2 min. Luke throws in a boot. End. A rideout. RT @ 2:44 for Luke

Per 3
JC takes bottom. He's out quickly, 7-2. Luke in on a low single and get the TD< 10-2. He cuts him, 10-3. Luke with a qukc TD, 13-3. He cuts him, 13-4. Luke with a TD, 16-4, with 1:11 left. Luke cuts him, and stall call on JC as he walks OOB. Luke with a TD, 19-5, and he cuts him 19-6. Luke in on a shot, JC locked on the thigh. Luke gets behind for the TD and the TF, 23-6!!!
