I chuckled at the part of the Penn State post that said time and ticket info would be coming "soon." Maryland didn't announce any of that last year until November. The B1G announced the location and dates of the B1G championships for all Olympic sports earlier today. Hence the official announcement of where/when the B1G Wrestling Championships will take place. As @GregPickel indicated, it was known that PSU was hosting the tournament. But the dates and the official announcement had not previously been made.
Is there anything fun to do in Indiana? Even though she will probably be the backup keeper, I will be there! The B1G announced the location and dates of the B1G championships for all Olympic sports earlier today. March 7-8, 2026What are the chances any of us peons get tickets to this and for a reasonable rate?
And by 2026, do they mean February 2026 or 2026-2027 season?
PIAA's are usually the same weekend I think. Tickets should not be that difficult to obtain. What are the chances any of us peons get tickets to this and for a reasonable rate?

I can commute that. I'm only 45 minutes away. Or stay far enough out of town that its a normal price.PIAA's are usually the same weekend I think. Tickets should not be that difficult to obtain.
Lodging, as usual, will be expensive.
Can’t buy cold beer to go! Never forget the first time I went out there and was floored by that. Will have to think of some recs for you but that came to mind immediately. Is there anything fun to do in Indiana? Even though she will probably be the backup keeper, I will be there!
PIAA states are indeed March 5-7 this year in Hershey.PIAA's are usually the same weekend I think. Tickets should not be that difficult to obtain.

Tickets for the BIG tournament are never difficult to get. Apply on line through the PSU website, probably in January or February. What are the chances any of us peons get tickets to this and for a reasonable rate?

Bobby Knight stories are classic. The Puerto Rico incident is pretty well known. After his arrest and the demand that he leave the country, Knight, upon takeoff , mooned his arse out of window and said that's the last thing he wanted the country to see of him .
Well I guess technically Maryland was last year, but two seasons ago. Northwestern was last and I am pretty sure they didn’t announce until early this year. It was very late. Tickets for Michigan, three seasons ago, were announced pretty early in the season, if I remember correctly.I chuckled at the part of the Penn State post that said time and ticket info would be coming "soon." Yeah, I reserved the same at the Hyatt (2 Queens and a pullout sofa) for $600 total ( Fri/Sat) back in March. Not that bad for State College.Got a suite at the Penn Stater for Friday and Saturday night for $587 and change total.
Not sure what you're talking about. Free lodging, free meals, and free transportation at Mom and Dad's house.PIAA's are usually the same weekend I think. Tickets should not be that difficult to obtain.

Got Deluxe King at Carnegie House for $502 for Sat./Sunday. Edit. Cancelled CH and booked a renovated farmhouse 1.2 miles from BJC.Got a suite at the Penn Stater for Friday and Saturday night for $587 and change total.

Mom acts as our chauffer, dropping us right in front of the venue.

Shoot? You’re right. I do recall NW being late though now that you mention it.Well I guess technically Maryland was last year, but two seasons ago. May try the Airbnb route but feels like only option otherwise.Harrisburg here also, I’m thinking I’ll be doing the up and back too
Yeah hey, that’s not terrible.Yeah, I reserved the same at the Hyatt (2 Queens and a pullout sofa) for $600 total ( Fri/Sat) back in March. Not that bad for State College.
Exactly, my friend and I were concerned about the cost of a room and if we could even get one. So as soon as I could, I rented our room. I’m thinking it was March or April?Yeah, I reserved the same at the Hyatt (2 Queens and a pullout sofa) for $600 total ( Fri/Sat) back in March. Not that bad for State College.
Looks like rooms aren’t too bad price wise for that weekend.
And you didn't make it to our tailgate? We had 40 people in the pouring rain.Exactly, my friend and I were concerned about the cost of a room and if we could even get one. So as soon as I could, I rented our room. I’m thinking it was March or April?
we got lucky two years ago for the Maryland hosted Big Ten championships. My sister lives 20 miles away from University of Maryland so we just stayed at her place. No hotel rooms, and $20 a day for parking was all we had to worry about.
Depending on the weather, we might even be able to walk to the Bryce Jordan center.
I saw the free candy sign, I will not be falling for that again. And you didn't make it to our tailgate? We had 40 people in the pouring rain.
This year it will be even better!!!
You saw the wrong sign. This was at @Hlstone party.I saw the free candy sign, I will not be falling for that again.
PIAA attendance will suffer! They may want to finish on Friday night… but that’s way too obvious.PIAA states are indeed March 5-7 this year in Hershey.
I get what they're saying but can't see them changing their schedule.PIAA attendance will suffer! They may want to finish on Friday night… but that’s way too obvious.
Hey Greg, I'm new to this site but is the football side of this all behind a paywall? I didn't have to pay for posting to wrestling message board stuff but it appears I have to pay for the football stuff? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance. Appreciate your wrestling workI get what they're saying but can't see them changing their schedule.
