This. Wonder how much they had to spend to win that $28,000 judgement.
One reason why some railroads paint "fallen flag" engines in real life--i.e., like the Pennsy for Norfolk Southern--is to maintain those trademarks so they can get money from model railroading companies.
Couple of thoughts about this settlement ...
1. Out esteemed BOT will easily spend this "windfall" on refreshment at their next remote, members only, event.
2. Thank God that our friend and sometimes fellow poster, Fairgambit, is an attorney. I am certain that he has protected all of his Fairgambit Worldwide Enterprises' products from similar legal activity.
