Penn State wrestling has promoted longtime volunteer Jimmy Kennedy to a newly-created assistant coach position.

I know it is tough to get financial info from any of the teams but it is weird he could be a volunteer for 2 years. How do you afford that unless you had something hanging from a prior negotiated contract.....which might be pretty odd for any young college coach in any sport.

Just spit balling but assume the NLWC probably took care of him in some capacity. He coaches for it too, of course.
