"I'm not stupid enough not to give the ball to Anthony Dixon," Croom said Monday. "Though some people think I am" end quote.
calling a coach stupid is somtimes a matter of opinion in the heat of anger. Yet, we have FACTS to back up this label of stupidity:
1. Using a 2-QB system in your opening game when history shows it's failure in college FB.
2. Using an un-proven, 5'-10" non-starter juco QB and behind on your last drive of an important season-opening game to a lesser opponent and leaving your starting QB on the damn bench probably thinking to himself "WTF coach?"
3. Not getting a first down against LA Tech in the 4th quarter due to abandoning your running game and forgetting to use your proven junior RB. Not to mention not even using a heralded freshman RB which you've been touting and hyping all off-season.
4. Dirt poor NCAA Offensive rankings 100+ in previous 4 seasons.
5. Continues using WC offense in college with college players who do not have time to learn it even when NFL teams think its too hard.
6. Requires no accountability from Offensive Coordinator in previous 4 seasons, yet non-accountability continues in current season 5.
7. Hiring your best friend as Offensive Co. (which explains 6. above)
Now I would ask any neutral fan looking in from the outside based on those facts: are these the habits of a stupid and stubborn coach?
