That's awesome of Kyle and the Houston Chapter. I wish I had the money to do something kick *** for the university like that.

is just funny. It's bizarre that LT would ever say that. And it's bizarre that it would be a consideration for anyone. Hell, they don't have a choice but to stay in the black. It's not like the athelitic department is authorized to incur debt. Every athletic department probably stays in the black.

I realized you weren't placing any particular importance on it. Your comment just sort of triggered by thought.

...is something referencing the 1941 SEC championship and the 1998 Western Division championship. But those are more and more in the wayback machine, so I can understand why they'd be left off. I still really wish there was something visible inside the stadium recognizing those two teams.

There really are no new revenue streams. Byrne is in over his head and will soon break the bank at State. He is trying to outlive his means to beat Ole Miss and make us look bad. I know this for a fact. I got it from good sources over at the Spirit Board.

Hopefully it'll have some MSU stuff on it to not make it look ridiculous. Good move by the athletic department. We've finally entered 2001.

It looks like we got this because that van company wanted the advertisement and then we got the alumni from Texas to pay for the artwork. I doubt that it cost the AD very much if any.

I can't decide if Byrne is that much more progressive than LT or if LT was that much lazier than Byrne. Probably a lethal combination of stupidity and laziness.
