Gary Crowton, the LSU coordinator, is a dyed in the wool spread guy. Did you watch Kentucky at all last year? Look at their stats, they threw all over the place, and it wasn't out of the I. My God, Tulsa isn't on that list, with Gus Malzahn at the helm. No mention of Utah either, which is odd seeing as how they still run Urban Meyer's offense there. Or Oklahoma, which has been a shotgun based offense since Stoops got there. They tightened up a bit with Peterson at tailback, but they are still a primarily shotgun spread team. What about Colorado under Dan Hawkins? Spread. Boise State? Spread. BYU? Spread. Cal? Spread. Purdue? Spread. Do I need to keep going?
