I didn't see a thread but I know that we sometimes have one this time of year.

As a Reading High Alum I was wondering if anyone is familiar with our next opponent Spring-Ford?

They played both Wilson and Exeter, won both. Should be a good one,edge to Reading.

RHS 82’ here. I have been at the 2 recent state championships and bummed will miss this one, but will get over it as leave early morn for Puerto Rico…lets go .RED KNIGHTS

A couple of things. Coach Perez is fantastic with these kids and he does a great job of using our athleticism to pressure teams. Also, the change from 4 to 6 classes has been a Godsend to the program.

Safe travels to PR. I have family in Orocovis and Camuy.

I hear ya on the wait and how sweet it was!

Awesome on family in PR. This is our second house hunting trip to the island. Concentrating on RioMar east, Rincon and Isabella on west side.

92 grad huh? Well then you'll likely remember that little 4 OT game your team played in Districts at Hempfield HS that I was on the other side of. That bus ride home was rather brutal.

Finishing with a loss sticks with you forever. I was a WR on our football team. We were undefeated in league and so was McCaskey. We faced off in the final game for the Lancaster-Lebanon League title and for a spot in Districts back when only 4 teams qualified. We scored the go ahead TD with 1 minute left, only to watch McCaskey go down the field and then hit a game winning 17 yard TD pass on the final play.

I didn't have a bus ride home but that loss still stings today! I feel ya!

That event a long with the many other difficult circumstances in my life taught me how to overcome and how to keep going forward. So yeah, I guess it did make me better in a way. It's all in how you handle it.

You mean 6A, Them,Goretti and that fake Single A team should all be 6A

Imhotep has won a few titles and NG is there every year. I don’t understand why they aren’t forced to play 6A at this point. AB Wood girls should also be in that category. Also not sure what joy there is in hammering these smaller schools every year in the playoffs. I believe Imhotep won state play off games by an avg of 30 pts this year.

Years ago I believe it was Becahi’s football coach who moved them up from 3A to 4A so they’d play better competition. That’s what these athletic depts should be doing.

Oh by the way, my Red Knights took down Philly's storied Private School Roman Catholic in OT for their 3rd 6A Title tonight!

Red Knights outplayed RC all night but still RC had their shot to steal the win with 1.7 in regulation. Whew!!
