How fast was he throwing pre-injury? The trouble that he was having with location wasn’t all that surprising, but topping out at 91 caught my eye. He didn’t have anything today that was fooling anyone, but I guess that’s to be expected after a year off

Thats about where he was before. Which is actually pretty incredible, given than he’s only 11 months removed from surgery. Wouldn’t be shocked if he adds 2-3 mph over summer ball, if he doesn’t get drafted.

ETA: From his PG player profile….he was at 91 mph in July 2020…. Summer before his seniror year of HS. That’s about where I remember him being in 2022 also.
