with the Vandy pitching coach he wanted but since then it has gotten really quiet. This hire will be important because our pitching staff will be about as weak next year as I can ever remember.

I thought I read that he hoped to have somebody by the middle of this week. I can't blame any pitching coach for not wanting to take over that MASH unit of a pitching staff, though.

I hope he is able to land Melvin at Virginia or Jay Powell. I'm sure he will make a good choice one way or the other.

one, the hiring of a pitching coach for right now isn't as important as recruiting and talking with all of the returning players as well as the incoming freshmen and getting settled in, I would think Cohen has an idea but moved this down the things to do list, two, maybe he is waiting on the CWS to be over with, who knows if someone in Omaha isn't high on the list.</p>
