That probably explains why they're always at or near the bottom of the conference in home runs. They're usually near the top in batting average, but I think that's a worthless stat. They're usually at or near the top in OBP, which is an important stat, but near the bottom in SLG, which is also an important stat. A couple of things I really like is that they have led the league in stolen bases the last three years, and by a huge margin the last two. They are also at or near the top in HBP every year. For those of you who talk up Cohen's aggressive style, you have to give O'Connor his due for having a squad that has stolen 262 bases over the last two years. That's pretty unbelievable. For comparison, the #2 team in the ACC over the last two years (Miami) stole 172 bases. Vanderbilt, the #1 team in the SEC over the last two years, stole 153 bases.
