Pitt is using Penn State as a model for how to structure their Olympic sports. They saw we were good at volleyball so they pumped resources into their program. They have plans to build a small arena to house volleyball, wrestling, and gymnastics - all sports in which Penn State has had considerable success. Sounds like a smaller Rec Hall. They have plans to build a lacrosse stadium for their new women's program. Sounds like Panzer Stadium. I think their philosophy is if Penn State is good at something, they should try to be good at it too.

Think they are referring to all sports not just football. Wrestling, WVB, Fencing, Men’s Gymnastics etc. You can now make fun of Pitt with a clear conscience.
PS: Football is not a NCAA Championship it’s mythical. BCS or CFP
