Time to reevaluate. 6-game winning streak. Beat #12 at home (road for us). 9-3 SEC team, 5-3 in conference with ranked wins over Vandy (not ranked anymore), A&M, Mizzou, and Clemson. Sellars is must watch tv.

So far, Cuse and Southern Cal are giving Miami and ND all they can handle. Tulane lost. Michigan beats OSU. UGA eeks out narrow win over Tech last night. What needs to happen from here for us to grab that 12th spot?

Bama has to lose to start with. Committee wants Bama in so they will torture the rankings to get them in.

Other than our win, we're not having any good outcomes. Needed the Cal Bears to have a pulse. Not happening. Need Auburn to win. They're down 11. Southern Cal is trying to help us. Need Maryland to do better. They're not. We're just gonna have to hope the idiot committee say's, "Is South Carolina one of the 7 best at large teams? Yes. Yes they are. Send 'em to State College."

Problem is; the playoff is basically a college football based reality show. The committee is there to make sure Disney/ABC get maximum viewership. Carolina isn't a huge draw as far as tv audience goes.

Don't get your hopes up about making the playoffs. Shoot for winning the bowl, finishing in the Top 15, maybe 10. Then clean up in the Portal. Hopefully, next season we make it.

That fumble by Ga Tech certainly didn’t help. I think the playoff committee during the 1st year is trying to avoid a 3 loss team at all costs. I’m not even sure a ND loss will affect them other than seeding. Though that loss to NIU should be count as 2 in the L column

Man I'm sitting here watching SMU play Cal at SMU and if I'm on the committee, I'm taking note of all the empty seats at their place. I mean I thought they loved football in Texas. Damn.
