According to many here, no one should make the CFP if they lose in the first round. Imagine losing to Illinois and thinking that way? It boggles the mind.
I could see Clemson fans gloating if their season was still alive but it's not. You played in the weakest conference in the power 5 this season and it showed why you snuck into the playoffs and lost in the first round. And we beat you head to head. So you want us to say congrats on making the playoffs now? Get a life.

At least Clemson didn’t have quitters in their game and get clowned all over social media. Embarrassing to hear all the SC and SEC pre-game arrogance on this board and then get ridiculed in-game by their coach…and lose to that mid-level team. 9 wins; we beat CU; we’ll be good NEXT year with the air-mailing passes of Sellers—blah blah. Who is the SEC? I mean Bama- lost to Michigan. USUCK lost to Illinois. And they both cried "we belong"... Serious question what was your best win? Based on where teams are ranked right now? Missouri? Clemson has a win over SMU. And the ranking system that has Missouri at 20 had SMU at 11. So if the ranking is wrong 1 could argue that other than Clemson, USUCK didn't beat anyone ranked either? It's a money driven system. It's gonna go to 16 teams. You will be pissed then. When it goes to 16, each conference will send their top 2 teams. The remainder will be at large and no cap for teams per conference. It will be the end of championship games and conference champs will be decided by regular season records. It going to the FCS model. Tbey are simply dragging it out.
I’m thinking one AQ per conference. Otherwise SEC and B1G will just have their own tournament.

No doubt losing to South Carolina is almost worse for Clemson than losing to the Citadel..Almost not quite. But hey when we lose to you Dabo makes changes. When he makes those kind of changes we win big. So remember when yiu get your A##beat going forward, it's your own fault. So yeah losing to the coots is not acceptable.
