going down fighting. Did anyone hear him on the radio say he is not going anywhere until the staff thing is worked out. He will be a fan if he gets his way he said, if not he doesn't know what he will do.

He has nothing to "work out." He isn't the effing AD. He needs to ride away in his new car and not come back until next season to sit in left field lounge .... maybe then he will notice that our fans heckle the left fielder because they all get yelled at all day by their bosses and wives.

Christ I hope he just lets it go.

We don't want you or Raffo anywhere near the program anymore. I am sick of him crying like an 8 year old!

Auburn is calling Raffo's name. According to KB21, Raffo was to their man 4 years ago, so why not now?

.......hinted strongly that his presence the next few years will depend upon who we hire. And of course, we know what "who" he's referring to.

I have been sick of Polk's tired old act for years.

Legend my ***.........Legends have national titles.

Polk has never been a very good game coach. He enjoyed a lot of success due to being a great gatherer of talent. What he did with the talent he has had over the years hasn't been that impressive.

I quickly point to the 89 team , which was very good but failed to get to Omaha.

Correct me if I am wrong , but that 89 team lost a crucial game in the regionals because Polk got a runner shot at the plate for the first out of an inning that We ended up scoring a lot of runs in.

Making the first out of an inning is a Cardinal sin in baseball , yet I have heard Polk do it for years.

I couldn't be happier that he is gone and hope like hell that he has nothing to do with the program from here on out.

If he wants to get pissed and cry because We don't give his boy Raffo the job , then piss on him.

I am glad he is gone and would just as soon not ever hear from him again.

Polk was a good coach, but never anywhere near an elite coach. Even in the prime of his career, he only made it to the CWS 4 times in 12 years (and won only 5 games there). He had the teams to get there 3 more times (83, 84 and 89) but blew it those years. In 83, he blew the SEC tournament by losing to an inferior Tennessee team which got us sent to Texas's regional. We were the only team to beat Texas that postseason and we beat national runner-up Alabama 4 out of 5 during the season. In the 84 regional final, he had the tying run late in the game thrown out at the plate trying to score from SECOND on a wild pitch. With Will Clark at the plate.
