While I know this is used to say we’re a coaching graveyard, it’s also an indicator that our jobs are destination jobs and not steps up. We’ve had quite a few coaches finish their careers here (Holtz, Spurrier, Odom, Fogler, McGuire, Tanner, etc…). Any of those guys could’ve gotten decent jobs had they desired to.Isn't this the first time one of our former coaches got another job at a major school? UMass was good under Cal.
Gee, I wish we had let him go to LSU instead of manipulating us into giving him free reign to destroy all our athletic programs. He would have won at least a couple of National Championships for LSU baseball. But for the record, Bill Foster coached Northwestern after he coached here. So it isn’t the first time.
