The Wichita State portal is the wildest thing I’ve seen. Their coach got conference coach if the year but they all entered the portal so they replaced him and it’s not really gotten better.

Don’t get too excited about the portal superstars. LSU’s baseball NIL fund is almost unlimited for whoever they want to add to their roster. That’s not to say we can’t improve through the portal. We certainly can. We added some pieces to last year’s team for sure. But the Tommy Whites and Paul Skenes of the world are mostly bound for Baton Rouge for big paydays we can’t come close to matching.
