So I’m looking at the 24 seven transfer portal listing. To show you how much recruiting and analysis is truly subjective, they have a receiver named London Humphreys going from Vandy to UGA. This guy has a .94 rating. For Juice Wells, they have him as a .93.

now, before I typed this out, has anyone on this board ever heard of London Humphreys?

I find it odd Juice is #6 highest portal rated, yet his NIL value is listed at 62K.
Others around him are triple digits. Surely he was getting more than 62K NIL money around here. None of this makes sense.

$62K at a more successful football program is probably worth more to a player than $80K from a losing to middling program.

Not one bit of difference! Now we have 2 leagues full of players who don't give a crap about winning! It is now all about the money!

I think a lack of playing in 2023 makes him an unknown quantity. He definitely has a high ceiling if healthy - but a lingering injury (that no one thought would keep him out that long) would certainly give another team pause before wasting a scholarship and NIL money. Because either he has a severe injury that's been covered up, or he was good to go and is a head case that kept himself out.

Transfers are probably going to have to start passing physicals before they can accept scholarships in the future.

I guess they all drop out of (or never start) college rather than have to enroll as an actual full time student.
