“a legitimate SEC team”Cintje’s stuff is nasty. Made a few mistakes after he got over 80 pitches, but he’s got potential to be great. For the list part, we actually looked like a legitimate SEC team. The catcher situation is inexcusable though.
Dammit, I’m trying to find positives here. But yeah, you’re right. We had a few good hits.
Errors in throwing a routine ball to first, base running sliding mistake, passed balls, over throw to first, picked off first, hitting multiple batters. SC didn't play that great tonight, good but not great.
We just aren't even close to good enough to win when we make dumb mistakes on basic fundamentals.
That list of mistakes above. It's almost unreal to look at. That's one game.
Between Hancock being behind the plate and Elaine Forsyth being on the roster in any capacity, it’s becoming almost impossible to support this staff. Forsyth alone botched an out on a stolen base and then hit into his signature DP in the 9th. Stolen bases were a given against Hancock. And we lost by 2 effing runs.Cintje’s stuff is nasty. With the obvious changes coming to our coaching staff, I really hope we're able to keep this kid on our roster.Cintje’s stuff is nasty. Yeah. There's going to be a lot of turnover between now and next year. He's one of the relatively few we really need to keep. With the obvious changes coming to our coaching staff, I really hope we're able to keep this kid on our roster.
