in the short post-game analysis by Greg P, Sean F and Nate B, there was a reference to Kobe King being injured and not playing after initial series. I saw the replay last night and he seemed to be on the field through most of the first half. Anyone see anything about Kobe King missing or injured?

I suppose the first day the media can watch practice will be when we find out if anyone is missing.

I think he got rocked on the second play of the game, when DDS got the QB, and the ball bounced up and King tried to catch it. If you watch the replay slowsly, you will see that it was a helmet on helmet hit by the Kent State offensive lineman. Maybe should have been a targeting call.

Just watched it again and looks pretty clean to me…the brunt of the contact is left shoulder to chest. Violent hit, but believe he avoided the head/neck area.

I'm pretty sure when he was running off the field at half-time, he wasn't wearing or holding his helmet. Made me worry the staff had taken it away due to injury.

that play was reviewed for targeting.

I saw him playing well into the 2nd period.

this is not a guy that we can afford to lose at this point. next person up is a step down.
