but he's already passed more courses at Ole Miss than Rory Johnson ever thought about, more than Chris Strong managed, and just as many as Mico McSwain ever did, so I don't see why he shouldn't get a shot for at least one year. Whatever happens, they need to give him a ruling soon so that he'll at least have the option to transfer and play D-1 ball this fall somewhere else if the SEC won't let him play.

and I don't expect him to be at Ole Miss, if he is great, if not it is time for him to move on.

Powe's absolute love affair for Ole Miss? I tend to believe some really shady things went on with this guy because it makes absolute no sense that he would fight all this garbage year after year to play ONLY at Ole Miss when he could have been playing JUCO or even lower division football for several years now. At this rate, by the time Powe starts playing at Ole Miss he will be NFL retirement age when he finishes.

I honestly think he thought he was getting in two years ago, and thought that last year as well. Im told he has several good friends on the Ole Miss team, and last year he was on scholarship, so its almost like he had to go to Ole Miss last year.

He should have went to Juco the year after Hargrave, that is where he messed up. If he had gone to Juco and dominated (not sure he would have) he would have been eligible for the past NFL draft, and if he actually passed JUCO (not sure he would have done that either), he could of been on campus at Ole Miss if that is where he wanted to be.

I don't think there's any doubt about it. That said, I think they should let him play. There's no proof of cheating, other than academic fraud in trying to get him eligible. And regardless of what was done to try to get him eligible, the fact is he's been in school for a year and has passed enough classes to play. Unless you've got proof of academic fraud while he was at Mississippi, I don't see any reason not to let him play.

a Pimp (ole miss) paying their ***** (insert player's name ) to prostitue for them and take them off the streets as an investment.

After 3 years of this ****, this Pimp (ole miss) has received no profit/return on their investment (paid for by UM Private Athletic Foundation AKA - Dickie Scruggs) so they will bind this ***** to their reins and won't let any other Pimps (schools) in america bid-up. Basically, a shady un-written contract.

disclaimer: the above maybe more of an opinion.

Rebel co-worker informed me that Powe had been cleared, but that Slive asked them to refrain from an announcement because if they announced before SEC Media Days, that is all that will be talked about. I asked him if he really believed that. I personally hope he gets cleared so all of this speculation crap can be over. For four years I have heard Reb fans talk about how Powe would equal at least +2 wins on the field. I truly believe he will be decent, but not the on field presence they have pumped themselves to believe he will be. I would just rather Snead, Powe, and Nutt all be healthy and on the field, that way there will be no if, and, or buts at seasons end.

I forwarded the link to the girls father and left it up to him. For all I know, he may not mind.....I'm just looking out for the kid of a friend until I know for sure.

This little girl has had some major medical issues and I just didn't want to see any tasteless farks made out of that picture.-----I hope you understand.

Either way, I appreciate your help.

Thanks

meanwhile, he's spent several years hoping to show everyone he's smart enough to pass at Ole Miss. My only hope is that some day within the next ten years this will end.

I think you have to be self-motivated. I don't gather Powe as the type that pushes himself. He needs others to get him there.
