Thanks for sharing. Had an Uncle that fought there and at Iwo Jimbo and survived both and lived in Tuscola, MS in Leake county until the age of 95. His next door neighbor and also a Great Uncle of mine went on shore at Omaha Beach minus 4 weeks and made it all the way to Berlin including marching with the Battling Bastards of Bastogne under Patton. Never got a scratch. Video interviewed him when he was 97 for 3 hours. He remembered EVERYTHING.

Nope. Named for May Cresswell. MS home demonstration agent.
