Not in this case. Take away the two big PSU plays, and they don't score at all. Take away a couple of big Michigan plays, and they still score. It would just take them a little longer to do so.

Penn State misery gets Cook (and a lot of the Pittsburgh media hacks) harder than a dozen little blue pills. They hated Joe and still blame him for the demise of the PSU/pitt rivalry. They all (led by Cook) thrive on negativity, and especially when it comes from HV. That said, can’t argue with his premise…Franklin and his teams are soft.

Franklin will need a very thick skin if he rides out nine more years with Penn State getting bullied around the field by any teams with a pulse and even a few that do not have a pulse.

The idea was not whether you could write a sentence without evidence but could you refute Cook’s points? I guess that answered the question - you could not.

I wouldn't use that description. It seems personal. Whether what he has to say is true or not, when you come across as having a personal issue with someone, which is how Cook comes across in this article, it undermines what he has to say.
