Would people just have dropped it and not dug into it as much?
I mean once Cam turned pro seemed like most national media just dropped it with Auburn, but they've kept digging into Ohio State. So in hindsight, would it have been better for OSU to just suspend them all for the Sugar Bowl (plus maybe the first game of 2011)?

ESPN ran that story about paying players after the BCS game... I think there is more to come with Auburn and bringing OSU into the light will only increase the coverage of Auburn and Newton..Irondawg said:

it's not over with auburn. the spotlight might be on ohio st right now (rightfully so), but that doesn't mean auburn is in the clear
