Pop-Up TSA PreCheck® Enrollment Event at GTR – Golden Triangle Regional Airport. Monday, December 11th - Friday, December 15th, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Locate the enrollment center in the Passenger Terminal, second floor.

Obviously you can't apply for Global Entry at one of these, but it still beats driving to Jackson or B'ham.

This is true. In the past year I have seen the pre-check lines are getting much longer. The one advantage is most of the pre-check passengers halfway know the routine and the lines move much faster.

Global Entry is only like $20 more, and includes the TSA PreCheck. And many premium credit cards (Delta Platinum AmEx, Chase Sapphire Reserve, etc.) will give you a statement credit equal to the GE application cost, making it free for you.

Its a much better deal….just takes longer to get it approved.
