PSA. Those of you up there in the northern tier might see the Northern Lights tonight.

Due to a solar flare. So put down the bag of Cheetos, get up off the couch and head outside.

Here's a fun factoid. During the Civil War and at the Battle of Fredericksburg VA, troops from both sides left their entrenchments to witness the Northern Lights. It had reached that far south.
